Anyone related with the club (swimmers, parents, coaches, volunteers etc.) can discuss any concerns with the Welfare Officer in confidence. This could be related to mental or physical health, discrimination, school, financial or family situations, physical or emotional abuse or neglect, for example.

You may come across the Welfare Officer if we require a DBS check for you to carry out your role as a volunteer with the club. They will initiate the DBS check online and verify your ID documents in person.
