The final weekend of the counties proved as exciting as the preceding two weekends and included some fantastic individual results and in the relays on the Sunday.

Saturday Highlights

Hattie Rothwell (12) - 1st in 200 free with a great time of 2.16.34

Will Gibney (18) - 2nd in the final of the 100 fly with a great new time of 58.64 - Andrew Brookes and Lewis Cole also made the final  - 1st final 100 backstroke

Harry Wilmott (9) - 2nd in 200 freestyle with a great pb of 3:35.69

Isabel Compton (13) - 2nd in the 100 fly with a pb of 2 second pb of 1:12.40

Sunday Highlights

A great day for the 11/12 year old girls (Abbie Rawlings, Becky Sheppard, Hattie Rothwell and Sophie Trigg) who won both the freestyle and medley relays in style

In the girls Open relays Becky Sheppard (12) Faye Jones (14), Isobel Compton, (13) and Hattie Rothwell (12) took on swimmers much older and qualified to both the finals finishing 5th in the freestyle and 6th in the medley relay

The 13/14 year old girls (Hannah, Fay, Isobel and Jess Butler) qualified for the final and finished 4th in both events

The 9/10 year old boys and girls and the 15/16 year old boys and open boys also performed well making the finals and finishing with medals.

Open mens relays, Will, Brett, Andrew and Christ - 4th in both Medley and Freestyle relays

Bagcat awards (British Age Group Category Awards)

11 year boys - Tom Hughes (4th), Bob Tharme (6th) - unfortunately Matthew Benson was ill on the last weekend

12 year old girls - Rebecca Sheppard (1st), Hattie Rothwell (2nd)

13 year old girls - Isobel Compton (2nd), Hannah Cook (7th)
